ECOMWEL, a secular NPO working for close to 4 decades, with a mission to empower the most in need. And the “most in need” includes the rural and urban poor, widows, deserted women, Dalits, tribals, narikuravas, unorganized workers, homeless women, elders, migrant workers and dying destitute.

ECOMWEL in the past has worked in many states of India (Kerala, Maharashtra, Orissa, Karnataka, West Bengal, Gujarat and Pondicherry) but now confined to Tamilnadu & Andhra Pradesh.

ECOMWEL supports development innovations that sustains the rural & urban poor.

ECOMWEL partners with NGOs who share the mission, values and commitment for a social cause and through them implement projects that brings Wholistic change in the lives of the poor and downtrodden.

ECOMWEL uses 80% of the donations to implement the projects, 10% towards administrative purposes including planning, monitoring & Evaluation,
5% to address emerging critical issues in the project areas and 5% during disaster situation towards Relief & Rehabilitation.

Contribution to ECOMWEL are exempted from Tax under section 80G of Income Tax Act 1961.

ONLY Indian Nationals are eligible for tax exemption.
